What are Pintura Highlights?
Pintura (Italian for "hand painted") is a unique balayage color technique created by DevaCurl that is curl specific.
The tool that DevaCurl created for this method is specially designed so that your colorist can custom paint your curls to achieve the look you want — either natural or bold highlights or low lights. What Pintura WILL NOT give you is that unnatural highlighted look that often results from a straight-haired foiling technique.
The Pintura method grows out beautifully, so you could do just one session and be done with it! Alternatively, you can keep it touched up with either "partial" or "random" sessions that will create a very "lived in" look.
